The 2015 Wedding season is well under way and it has not disappointed… Joyful moments have been shared. Passionate first kisses exchanged. And of course “I can’t believe you picked me” tears have been shed. My #mwbrides have designed meaningful, beautiful, and elegant Wedding celebrations. I am so thankful to be a part of each one of them.
Along the way I have noticed a few early Mid-Atalantic Wedding trends that I am just loving. These are elements that make me down right giddy when I see them, because they are so very classic… and because I adore all of the pretty that surrounds a bride and her groom on a Wedding day. These things represent who my couples are, and who they will become.
So here you go… be inspired and enjoy!
1. The Veil
Tops on my list is the veil. Such a romantic addition to a brides attire. A veil is crown of grace and elegance upon the head of a women walking to meet her groom and promise forever. The symbolism runs deep, and can mean so many different things to a bride.
2. Sweeping Braids
Wether it’s incorporated into an up-do or a loose side bride this is a lovely little bit of interest to add to the Wedding look of bride and her maids.
3. One-Color Cakes
This is a stunner… One Color Cakes with intricate embellishments. How pretty is this?
4. Monograms & Hand Lettered Paper Suites (invitations, programs, menu’s, place-cards)
Like this classy wax seal and place-card these element just scream timeless beauty.
5. Asymmetrical Bridal Bouquets
In the hands of a Bride an asymmetrical bouquet is a charming echo of the emotions a bride feels on her Wedding day… love, freedom, joy, and hope.
6. Gold Wedding Bands
It’s a very personal decision for the bride and groom when selecting rings that represent their unending promise. Not only are they an important symbol, but their are an enduring piece of their story. A piece that they carry with them through every season, and will someday pass on to another generation of storytellers. Gold is a classic choice for any bride and groom, we suggest to look up to this website to find the best wedding band options
7. And for Him… A Unique Bow-Tie and Boutonniere
Let’s not leave the groom out. It is a wonderful decision to set the groom apart with a bow-tie that is unique to him… that makes him stand out from the groomsmen, in the same way that the bride does from her ladies. And of course adding a distinct boutonniere to his lapel will set it off perfectly.
8. Venue With A View
Your setting matters… It is an essential part of any great story. Selecting a Wedding venue with a view that you and your guests will love will set the tone for the story you are telling on your Wedding day. These are the views you will re-see as you look through your Wedding album and share the story of how you became husband and wife with the generations to come.
