Evenly and Rob’s real-life romance is that story… they met in an operating room of an ER.  From then on, he just couldn’t forget her, nor could she forget him. Evelyn, whose family is from the Annapolis area, had long dreamed about getting married along the beautiful Chesapeake Bay… and the Sunset Ball Room at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club was the perfect place. Their Wedding day was an elegant affair. The tones of ivory, dusty rose, navy, and gold gave the day an elevated nautical look.

We met in the ER in Syracuse, NY. I was a nurse working in the trauma room he was a surgical resident. We actually didn’t start dating until a year or two after “meeting” He proposed before deploying to Afghanistan at our apartment, after I had been working a 12 hour shift, he was packing and pulled it out of the sock drawer. He had bought some desserts from Whole Foods to celebrate after. It was very low key but very us. How I knew I wanted to marry him.. I just kinda looked at him one day when he was talking and there’s just so much to him other then “being a doctor” and I love that about him. I feel like it was the first time I saw “him”. Really it was just an epiphany quite a few months after we started dating while I was riding in the truck with him. He’ll say one morning when he woke up and was watching me sleep. It’s more cute then creepy the way he says it.
