Whitney and Trip’s Wedding day at the William Paca House in Annapolis  was wrapt in light, filled with joy, and dripping with romance. The day began with Whitney and her ladies getting ready in perfect illumination  at the Lightbox Studio (such a dreamy place to get ready), while the gents gathered at the Loews for some pre-wedding toasts, relaxation, and eventual attire changes.

Whitney and Trip chose the Paca House because of it’s natural beauty, and it was in full Spring vibrancy in the golden sunlight for there Wedding. When they arrived on the property, they chose to await seeing each other until the aisle, and what a gorgeous moment that was.

Whitney is a lover of fashion and has refined aesthetic.  Her vision for the day was to create a look and experience for the day that was altogether simple, elegant, and romantic. And my oh my, did she achieve that.

There were a few set backs on this Wedding day… the groom a broke wrist the week of the Wedding, and their may or may not have been thunderstorms that caused everyone to retreat inside for the last hour of the celebration. But none of these things were able to stop these two and their fabulous family and friends from soaking in every bit of this glorious day.

From the Couple

Daniel and Whitney met the old-fashioned way- at a bar in Clarendon on a Thursday night in August 2012. It was clear quickly that the two were meant to be, sharing a love for dogs that ultimately led them to rescuing Jackson their Australian Shepherd mix just 8 months later. After much sneaking around, on March 4th Daniel (and Jackson) surprised Whitney in their apartment with champagne, a beautiful ring, and later a gathering of their close friends and family at the bar where they met. Just a week later they were off to New Orleans to celebrate, a trip given as a Christmas gift to follow the special occasion.
