When my family first received our new health care coverage the Huffington Post quoted my thoughts as Mom and Maryland Wedding Photographer in an article… which led to my family being featured on billboards and commercials. Last month I was a part of an epic shoot within a shoot featuring this beautiful couple (who by the way were super great sports… Thanks Erin & Zach!).

A bit more of the story… I am a Wedding (aka love-story) photographer… but I am first a wife and a mother. Because of that I started my career as a photographer while I worked full-time as a Shift-Manager at a world-renowned coffee shop here is Salisbury, MD. This enabled me to build my business and most importantly provide health care coverage for my little-men. But soon my Weddings increased and I found myself living the dream… telling the love stories of fabulous couples as my sole job. Because of that, we lost our health care coverage… Eek! That was a scary time. Thankfully we now have health-coverage.
