Hilarie and Craig’s romantic engagement session in Salisbury, Maryland was one for the books. Though they will be married in at the end of this month it was so important for them to capture their engagement memories together. So we strolled through the lush greenery of the Salisbury City park with a fragrant bouquet of lavender in hand, and the romance unfolded like magic before my eyes. 

Craig and Hilarie have been together for 3 years, but have known each other for about 7 or 8. They met through mutual friends and after many missed opportunities at falling in love with one another, they finally went on their first date in July 2012. Finally the timing was right! Each challenge they before officially dating and the challenges they have met since has brought them to exactly where they need to be- together, learning, and growing in love. Craig asked Hilarie to marry him about a year and a half into dating. They had just returned from, Rincon, Puerto Rico, their our first big trip together. Hilarie had told him before they left not to bring a ring if he had one, because she knew they would lose it. Later he told said he wanted to propose the whole time we were on the trip. When they got back, he planned to take her to dinner and pop the question, but soon realized he had lost his credit card. He ended up asking her in the kitchen while I she unpacking groceries, because he just couldn’t wait any longer. It was perfect and intimate and took place in a home that is filled with their love and memories.
