A love story eight years in the making… Katherine and Joseph’s Rackliffe Plantation House & Rum Pointe Wedding was an intimate and sweet eastern shore affair.
Katherine and Joe chose to get married midweek on July 20th, a Wednesday… You see, it was the eight year anniversary of the day Joe, the gentleman, asked Katherine, the lovely, to be his girlfriend. Their love blossomed on her sweet sixteen, and they’ve been bringing smiles to each others faces ever since.
I had so much fun watching them become husband and wife… It was one of those marriages that was as natural as the next breath. Each of their family members was full of words affirming the goodness of this marriage, and the excitement that they all felt in watching this dream come true for Katherine and Joe.
It was such a happy day… filled with simple beauty.
Congrats, Katherine & Joe!

{From the Bride}
We met our Freshman year of High School on the bus – he lived about 3 miles away and I was friends with all of his friends but we had never met! He liked me the first day that we met but I wasn’t interested. So we remained friends for two years until he asked me to ride four wheelers with him and we started “officially” dating right after my 16th birthday (8 years ago).
