Osprey Point never disappoints with its waterfront views… even on this rainy May Wedding day, the soft light reflecting of the Chesapeake Bay wrapped Betsy and Bill in a glow fitting of their sweet and classic romance.
Betsy was inspired by her mothers Ginger Jar collection as she planned her Eastern Shore Wedding day. In fact, they used her mother’s Ginger Jars as vessels for all of the floral elements throughout the day. Ashley form Sherwood florist created garden style florals featuring lush garden roses, fragrant freesia, and sprinkles of blue delphinium to pull in the indigo tones of the Ginger Jars. This created a look of timeless elegance that harmonized with the ever-present natural beauty of the shore setting they chose to celebrate the day Elizabeth (Betsy) and William (Bill) began life as Mr. & Mrs.
Without a doubt, my favorite part of the day was Betsy and Bill’s choreographed first dance to Ray Lamontagne’s “You Are the Best Thing.” I will never forget the “we just nailed this” kiss they exchanged as they struck their final pose. It was perfect!

Bill popped the question at my parents’ summer home in Rock Hall, Maryland. He surprised me with “will you marry me” written on a coffee cup from my favorite, local coffee shop. We were so excited to plan our wedding in Rock Hall… we wanted to share our love of the Eastern Shore with all our guests.
