This Wedding at Heritage Shores was… dare I say it? Yes, I do… Swoon Worthy!!!
You see, sometimes I get to be a part of the story of a Bride & Groom from proposal all the way through “I DO.” When this happens for me, it is such a precious gift. It’s like having a VIP seat as they make their journey into marriage.
I had that honor with Luke and Sarah. These two are just spectacular together, and so very honest in front of the lens… after all they are pro’s at it now. I can not help bet feel their joy, excitement, and passion as I peruse through this gallery.
Sarah and her family rented a darling beach house in Lewis, Delaware for she and her sweet girls to get ready in. When I arrived the place was abuzz with activity, and I fell right into the joy that was abounding. Sarah didn’t even blink an eye as I began capturing all of the details. It was as though I was a part of her day… meant to be there. I love when this happens, because well, Sarah just allowed me to flit about and create these images for her.
Luke and Sarah exchanged letters and prayed together during their no-look “first-look.” It was an incredibly emotional moment in their day. After which Sarah said she was no longer nervous!I just adore the fact that Sarah’s dad, Steve, officiated their Wedding.
The S’mores Bar at the Wedding was definitely a hit!
{The Love Story} From the Bride & Groom
Luke and I met in the Fall of 2011 at CRU, a Christian organization at Salisbury University. I was a sophomore and he was a freshman. We
caught each other’s eyes right from the start but never became anything other than good friends… that is until the Fall of 2014 at our CRU
Fall retreat. I always knew something was different about Luke but I realized it was something really special on that October weekend. After
we returned home I tried to grab his attention more but he was clueless. It wasn’t until many conversations and hangouts with friends that
Luke finally asked me on a date. We went to a local park and talked for hours. I knew he wasn’t just a great guy but he was the man The
Lord had picked for me to marry. We started our relationship the next day and continued to grow closer together with every date and
experience.

I met Sarah in 2011 which was my freshman year of college through Cru. I hung out with her at Cru events and knew there was something
really special about her. She was obviously beautiful on the outside but what I learned later is that she was beautiful on the inside. She is
beautiful on the inside because of her love for Christ and she has the Holy Spirit living in her. As time went on, we both got involved in our
college careers and were not able to hang out together as much. But God brought us together when he knew it was best for us. After Fall
retreat 2014 we started hanging out more again and eventually I asked her out on a date. When she said yes I couldn’t believe it because I
really liked her and thought that she was out of my league. When we went on the date we talked for hours and I realized how amazing she
was and I really saw myself making a life with this woman. The next day I asked her to be my girlfriend and I consider it the greatest joy that
now I get to marry her. She is my best friend and we are living proof that when God writes your love story you will have a happily ever after.
