What a glorious day we had for Gail and David’s United States Naval Academy Engagement Session. We were gifted with 50 degree temps and the golden rays of the sun at the end of December… Hallelujah! We took full advantage of every moment of that glowing afternoon. The Naval Academy is always a stunning location for a romantic sunset stroll, and it seemed to be almost magically lovely for Gail and David’s Engagement session.
It was such a joy getting to know Gail, and David. I also got to meet their sweet Labradoodle puppy Benton (Benny). He is absolutely adorable, and oh so sweet.
I am so excited for their Annapolis Wedding in June. They are getting married right on the water at the Annapolis Maritime Museum. It is sure to be absolutely stunning, and filled with joy!
{From the Bride to Be}
Dave and I met through mutual friends at a party. He moved to Annapolis here from Pittsburgh for work, and he had just finished going through the fire academy. My sister lives in Pittsburgh so we instantly had something in common to talk about. After our first date we were practically inseparable. We bought a house about a year ago in Cape St. Claire and are having a blast doing projects and getting the house just the way we want it. We look at everything like an adventure 🙂
Dave proposed to me in Pittsburgh in January. His mom and I were planning him a surprise birthday party in the city, but really he and his mom were planning our engagement party. I was in complete shock and definitely never saw it coming, well, not that night at least! He planned the whole thing perfectly and even had my parents and all five of my siblings there (flew one in from New York City, and another in from Florida). It was the most amazing day of my life!! I feel like the absolute luckiest girl in the world to be marrying this man! I am enjoying every step of the wedding planning process!
