Despite attending the same university, Kelly and Blake didn’t cross paths until after graduating when their mutual friends brought them together on a beach trip to Delaware. Their connection was undeniable, and before long, Blake was asking Kelly to be his wife.

When it came time to plan their wedding, the couple dreamed of a coastal celebration with a foundation of greens and blues with citrusy pops of orange, grapefruit, and marigold as a nod to their favorite local cocktails.

For Kelly and Blake, the day started with a festive trolley ride to the chapel while the bride arrived in style in a vintage Rolls Royce (originally owned by Perry Como!). They tied the knot in an emotional church wedding ceremony surrounded by loved ones. Kelly dazzled in a strapless Mira Zwillinger's gown with floral appliques and held a sherbet-hued bouquet, while her bridesmaids paired eggshell blue dresses with all-white bouquets.

Cocktail hour was held on a sprawling lawn overlooking Rehoboth Bay with a beautiful sailcloth tent adorned with greenery. Inside, bistro lights and linen chandeliers hung overhead a bar decorated with citrus fruits and floral arrangements. In true New England style, guests were treated to a raw bar and signature citrus crush cocktails.

Following the coastal theme, oyster place cards directed guests to their seats in a grand ballroom with floor-to-ceiling windows. The head table featured a blue geometric-print linens and vibrant florals lining the center, while round guest tables were dressed with crisp white linens and blue floral napkins. Custom menus were placed on gold-rimmed scallop-edged plates at each setting. After dinner and toasts, the festivities began on the dance floor—including the breaking of the glass and a traditional Hora to honor Blake’s Jewish heritage!

At the end of the night, the couple brought out pizza and soda from their favorite local spot for guests to enjoy as they watched a spectacular fireworks display.
