I live in an historic home with my three adventurous men, along with our sweet pup, #EllanorTheBoston. I began my adult life singing and acting on stage, then spent some years teaching music and theater. I then transitioned to being a Creative Arts Pastor, and started shooting for marketing purposes. I began photographing Weddings in 2009 and transitioned to being a full time Fine Art Wedding photographer in 2013.
I am drawn to the beauty of water, and will always choose to make it a backdrop for a love story whenever possible... But I also can't get enough of French and Roman inspired architecture. I am relentlessly inspired by the work of Impressionist painters such as Manet, Monet, Cassatt. I often think of Degas' dancers when I photograph brides.
I believe we have a choice each and every day to ground ourselves in truth, uncover the beauty around us, and live an adventurous story worth telling.
I adore watching the way people hold hands... it's such a simple connection that can have a profound and silent impact.
Each time I visited my grandmother she would greet me from her rose garden... flowers became the symbol of grace, beauty, and strength that my grandmother embodied.
The symbol of life and adventure... this California girl is intoxicated by tidal waters and salt air.
